The Threads of Memory

This piece reflects on the connection between generations. Thread appears as a central element, not only as a material but also as a metaphor for continuity and connection.

Through it, I think about the shared stories between grandmothers, mothers and daughters — the gestures that are repeated, the knowledge that is passed on almost without noticing, and how many of these memories are carried through everyday practices such as sewing or embroidery.

The brooch becomes a small object that holds this idea of transmission. When worn, it acts as a reminder of the lineage we belong to and of the invisible ties that connect our stories with those who came before us and those who will come after.
